Character and Citizenship Education (CCE)
Character and Citizenship Education (CCE)
The CCE curriculum, guided by the CCE 2021 Curriculum Frame aims to develop good character, resilience, social-emotional well-being, future readiness, and active citizenship in our students. At Northshore, our school-based CCE programmes align with our school vision and nurture S.M.A.R.T. values in our students.
Courage to Explore
Through our Education and Career Guidance (ECG) efforts, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to explore their secondary school options and future career pathways. Visit Northshore Primary School ECG page for more details and updates.
Zones of Regulation in-house curriculum helps students build emotional awareness and self-management skills. This provides the foundation for emotional resilience and adaptability, enabling them to take the courage to explore new opportunities and be tenacious through challenges.

Heart To Serve
“Be a G.E.M.” is a signature Northshore programme that nurtures a heart to serve in every student—encouraging them to Be Grateful, Show Empathy, and Make a Difference. This is brought to life through two key school-wide experiences.
-
Students engage in customized Values-in-Action projects at each level, culminating on Children’s Day. By celebrating Children’s Day as a day of giving, students develop a strong sense of empathy.
-
The year also concludes with a time of reflection, where Northshoreans express appreciation to peers, teachers, and family members for gratitude is key to developing a tenacious mindset.
